![]() The City of Folsom and the school district are collaborating on solutions to minimize parking issues at Vista del Lago High School. Now, due to the unprecedented student enrollment and changes to the California teen driving laws, those spaces are at premium. When the high school was built, enrollment projections determined the number of parking spaces that were allotted. The Folsom Cordova Unified School District Board of Education has taken steps to manage school capacity for the upcoming 2019-20 school year, and the district will engage the community in the coming months to review school boundaries to help permanently alleviate overcrowding. Vista del Lago High School continues to experience its largest student enrollment since it opened more than a decade ago.
